Shanghai International Aikido Club was founded in February 2002 by a
group of young enthusiasts. Since then, many local and foreign Aikido
amateurs have studied the art together and assisted their training by
organizing all kinds of lectures and training sessions. This has
improved their technique, and also reinforced close ties between local
and foreign friends. Shanghai International Aikido Club has had many
Chinese and Japanese black belt help and instruction. It was recently
registered at the Japanese Aikido hombu Dojo.
